SteelFreak Heavy Duty Raw Steel Fire Pit Cover Lids are made in America from laser cut 12 gauge steel with 1/2 inch round bar steel handles. They come fully welded - no assembly required. The unique ergonomic shape and placement of the handles are designed for easy installation and removal of the cover. They are available in several sizes to accommodate a variety of fire pits. We recommend choosing a cover that is at least 2-4 inches larger than the inside diameter of your fire pit. Please note these covers are made from raw, uncoated steel. Rusting of an uncoated raw steel fire pit cover is both inevitable and expected. This will not significantly affect the longevity of our covers as they are built from thick, heavy duty steel and designed to be left exposed to the elements. If left uncoated, the entire cover will develop a rust patina. Please also be sure to fully extinguish the fire before placing the lid on the fire pit as excess heat can cause the lid to warp.
