    It all started back in 1983, when our founder, Kevin Inkster, was frustrated by the lack of tools for shaping wood beyond chainsaws. He attached a homemade disc to an angle grinder and started carving. That simple experiment sparked a new way of working with wood, and the beginning of what we now call Powercarving.
