OVERVIEW

The Cosmo RC-17 is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes exceptional all weather traction and excellent road gripping ability. The special tread pattern firmly grips the road in dry, wet and winter weather. The wide circumferential grooves actively channel water away from the tire footprint, effectively preventing hydroplaning in dangerous situations in the process. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction ensure a safer year round driving experience.

The model offers a comfortable and quiet drive. The constantly maintained road contact reduces the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin. The tire’s road contact absorbs the shock of driving by closely following the road surface. The tread pattern decreases the road noise heard while the tires are in motion. The airwaves are channeled through the tire footprint without coming into contact with the tread elements. In this manner the driving experience becomes more enjoyable and the road vibrations and noise do not disturb the comfort of the passengers.

The tire compound and the tread design lower the tire’s rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire during the drive that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tires in motion.
