OVERVIEW

The Forerunner QH505 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The model offers excellent controllability. The tread design features a solid center rib that keeps the tire's road contact at all times, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle's instructions, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The better control over the tires allows the towing vehicle to precisely tow the trailer in all weather.

The tread design's optimized footprint enhances the tread life and the tire's usability. The symmetric tread design's maintained road contact manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formation of irregular wear across the tread area. The ensured even tread wear lengthens the tread life and the tire's usability significantly, extending its service life and ensuring a cost efficient performance.

The QH505 promotes superb all weather performance. The tread's symmetric pattern and all season compound work together to improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread's wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. In this manner, the tire provides a safer year round driving experience.

This tire has a BIASED ply structure.

Manufacturers only provide the width and rim diameter with these tires. Various brands and models will have discrepancies. To ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter should be checked.

The Overall Diameter advertised represents the overall diameter in inches, once it has been inflated and mounted.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
