OVERVIEW

The Kumho Ecowing ES31 is a touring, all season tire manufactured from passenger vehicles. This model has some high performance sizes available.

The tire upgrades the all weather traction. The silica-based all season compound works with the asymmetric tread design in order to boost the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The high silica levels of the compound allow the tire to keep the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. The tread elements increase the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, upgrading the surface traction. The four circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet weather conditions, by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint.

The asymmetric ribbed tread design helps to improve the surface contact at all times. The ribs ensure the surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability while the tires are in motion. This promotes a faster and more precise steering response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder pattern helps to increase the cornering power as well. These tread elements grip the road surface and the maneuvering capability, which ensures the driver's control over the vehicle.
